Who we are

The Million Dinar Map is operated by Expansion Digital and Advisory FZC, a company registered in Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, licence number 4426592.01 (“we”, “us”). By buying pixels or using the website you agree to these terms.

Who can buy

You must be at least 18. If you buy for a business, you confirm you are authorised to act for it, and these terms bind that business.

What you buy

You buy a permanent listing on this website for the pixels you choose on the map. The first approved buyer of a pixel owns that listing forever, subject to these terms. Each pixel can only be sold once.

No real-world rights

A spot on the map does not give you any government, land, property, trademark, or business rights to any place in Jordan, and it does not give you exclusivity over a city, area, or category. Other brands, including competitors, may buy spots next to yours. It only gives you a listing on The Million Dinar Map.

Governorate sponsors

Each governorate can have one official sponsor at a time. A sponsorship lasts 12 months from the day we approve it, at the price shown at checkout, and is added to a spot bought in that governorate. The spot itself stays forever; only the sponsor title and its place on the race card end after 12 months, and the sponsor can renew before anyone else. If a governorate already has a sponsor when we review your order, the sponsorship fee is not charged. A sponsorship is a display on this website only. It does not give the sponsor any rights over the governorate, its pixels, or other buyers, and it does not stop anyone else from buying spots there.

Not an official project

The Million Dinar Map is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the Government of Jordan, the Royal Jordanian Geographic Centre, any governorate or municipality, or any official national celebration.

Buying pixels

Every pixel costs 1 Jordanian dinar (JOD). You choose a free area on the map and pay only for the pixels inside the map of Jordan. Each purchase needs a name, an image, an email address, and at least one way for customers to reach you (website, WhatsApp, phone, or Instagram).

Payment

When you check out, your card is authorised for the amount but not charged. We only charge it when we approve your spot. Payments are in JOD by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay through our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Your bank may charge its own fees for foreign or online payments.

Review and approval

We review every purchase before it appears on the map, normally within 24 hours. Your pixels are held for you while we review. If we cannot approve your image, you can upload another one; if you choose not to, the authorisation on your card is cancelled and you are not charged.

Your content

You confirm that you own or have permission to use your image, name, and logo, and that your content, offer, and links are true, legal, and not misleading. Content must not be offensive, political, sexual, defamatory, or harmful, must not target another person or business, and must not break the laws of the United Arab Emirates or of Jordan. Links must not lead to fraudulent, harmful, or illegal websites.

Permission to show your content

You keep ownership of your content. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, resize, and share your spot’s image, name, message, and links on the website, in the leaderboard, in share images, and in our promotion of the map.

Trademarks and complaints

You may only use names, logos, and trademarks that you own or are allowed to use. Anyone who believes a spot uses their trademark, image, or name without permission, or is harmful, can report it using the Report this spot link or our contact details. We review reports and may hide a spot while we check it.

Offers you publish

If you add an offer or discount code, you must honour it for customers who use it. You are fully responsible for your offers and for your dealings with your customers.

Removal

We may reject, edit, pause, or remove content that breaks these terms or the content policy, that we are asked to remove by a competent authority, or that creates legal, payment, or security risk. If content is removed for breaking these terms, no refund is due.

How long your spot stays

Your spot is permanent. It stays on the map with no renewal or monthly fees, and we keep daily backups so it is not lost. If the map ever has to close because of a law, a court or government order, or events outside our reasonable control, we will give as much notice as we can and keep a public archive of the map and its spots online where possible. This is not a reason for a refund.

Changing your logo

You can change the image on your spot up to 2 times in any 12 months from your dashboard. Each new image is reviewed under the same content rules before it goes live. Your spot’s size and location cannot be changed after approval.

Governorate donations

When every pixel in a governorate has been sold and approved, we donate a share of that governorate’s pixel sales, as shown on the governorate race, to a registered cause in that governorate chosen by us. The donation is made by us from our own revenue and is published on the website. It is not a prize: no buyer receives money or anything of value from it, and buying pixels does not enter you into any competition.

Invoices

An invoice issued by Expansion Digital and Advisory FZC is emailed to the address you give at checkout and is available in your dashboard. Once we are registered for VAT in the UAE, invoices show our Tax Registration Number and the VAT treatment that applies to you.

Statistics

Your dashboard shows how many times your spot was opened and how many times its buttons were tapped. These figures are provided for information. We do not promise any number of visitors, clicks, or sales.

The map

The map of Jordan on this website is an artistic illustration made for advertising. It is not an official or survey map, and its borders and governorate boundaries are approximate. Spot locations do not represent real addresses or property.

Links to other websites

Spots link to websites, social media pages, and apps run by the spot owners, not by us. We do not control or endorse them, and we are not responsible for their content, products, or services. Any deal you make with a spot owner is between you and them.

Taxes

Prices are shown in JOD. Any taxes that apply are shown at checkout and on your invoice.

Liability

The website is provided as is. To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase. We are not responsible for traffic, sales, or business results from your spot.

Your responsibility

You agree to cover us for any claims, losses, or costs, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your content, your offers, your links, or your breach of these terms.

Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as internet or hosting outages, cyber attacks, natural disasters, or government action.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force when you buy applies to that purchase. We will post changes here with a new date.

General

If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest stays in force. These terms, the refund policy, and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us about your purchase. If we provide a translation, the English version prevails.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Sharjah, and the courts of Sharjah have jurisdiction over any dispute.
