Who is responsible for your data

Expansion Digital and Advisory FZC is responsible for the personal data collected through this website. We handle it under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and, where it applies, Jordan’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 24 of 2023.

What we collect

When you buy a spot: your name or business name, email address, category, the country you live in if you choose to share it, the image you upload, your message and offer, and any contact details you add (website, WhatsApp, phone, Instagram, Google Maps link). Payment details are collected and processed by Stripe, not by us. When you browse: anonymous counts of how often each spot is opened and its buttons are tapped. We do not run advertising trackers.

What is public

Your name, image, message, offer, category, location on the map, and the contact buttons you choose to add are shown publicly on the map, the leaderboard, and in features such as Spot of the day. Your email address is never shown publicly.

Reports

If you report a spot, we keep your report and, if you give it, your email address, so we can review the report and reply.

Why we use it

To create and show your spot, process your payment, send your invoice, run your dashboard, contact you about your order, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your data, and we only send you marketing if you ask us to.

Who we share it with

Stripe for payments and fraud prevention, Supabase for our database and image storage, Vercel for hosting, Resend and Hostinger for email, and authorities when the law requires it. These providers may store data outside the UAE and Jordan, with safeguards required by law. Our servers keep short technical logs to keep the site secure and working.

How long we keep it

Public spot content stays for as long as your spot is on the map. Invoice and payment records are kept for the period required by tax law. Other data is deleted when no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent, by emailing privacy@milliondinarmap.com. Deleting your data may mean removing your spot’s public details. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Your location

If you choose “Near me”, your browser asks your permission and then shares your approximate location with the page, only to suggest a spot near you. We do not store it or send it to anyone.

Browser storage

The website stores small settings in your browser to make it work. You can clear them in your browser settings at any time.

Children

Purchases are for adults only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
